野外覓石: Fraser River Wahleach Bar

Field Trip:	Wahleach Bar, Fraser River
Date & Time:	April 5, 2015 (Sunday), 9:00 AM
Meeting Location:	A&W 7211 Morrow Road, Agassiz, BC Map
Material:	Agates, jasper, sillimanite, serpentine, and perhaps even the elusive jade
Equipment:	Rock hammer, digging tools, gloves, water squirt bottle, buckets. Clothing bundle up with layers, as the gravel bars can be breezy and cold, & could be rainy. Good hiking boots will reduce the risk of twisting an ankle on the slippery rocks.
Vehicle:	Car (full tank of gas) Easy drive - paved roads - then a short walk to the gravel bar
Other:	Bring food, water, back pack. Weather permitting - if snow on the bar another location may be chosen. Be sure to check with the WagonMaster BEFORE you go!!
